Cornerstone ceremony at a factory or in an economic zone

Many factories in economic zones are built by international groups, so the guest of honour and part of the delegation may not speak Polish. The whole event is therefore designed to be fully bilingual, from the printed programme to the words spoken over the cornerstone.

The commemorative act that is signed and sealed inside the time capsule is prepared in two language versions on a single document, so that both the local authorities and the investor's board sign the same text and each side can read it in full. We align titles, company names and the official spelling of the investment with the client's legal and PR teams before printing.

An investment in a special economic zone is a public-interest event. Alongside the investor you typically host representatives of the zone's management company, regional and local government, and often national-level guests when the project is large enough to matter for the wider economy.

Protocol order of precedence drives the seating, the order of speeches and the line-up at the cornerstone. We agree the guest walking route, the position of the stage and the cornerstone, parking and the location of the marquee with the site manager and the contractor's safety officer. Where the ground is uneven or muddy we bring flooring, walkways and a stable platform, and we make personal protective equipment available where the rules require it.
